The Summit at Duncan Meadows - 6H Ridgeway Ln Apartments

Before leaving, I noticed smoking became more of an issue for this complex. People are allowed to smoke on their porches. Once they are done they flick their used cigs on to the sidewalks and rocks. This is too bad. When my windows were open my apartment would have such a pungent smell of an ash tray. This among a few other things there were not handed when asked and were ultimately deal breakers. I hope people read this before they move in and know this. Very convenient, friendly and attentive staff, responsive to any issues that came up, nice balcony view of the woods, good value, things work, enough space, smooth experience all together. Having laundry room in the apartment really helps.

I've lived here for almost 4 years. The only perk, is the school district and every one has a private entrance. No Amenities - No Pools, No Workout Center, No Community Room.

Plowing sucks, more often then not the plow guys don't clean the sidewalk, no salt or sand. During a heavy snow storm the driveway gets plowed once, and then the next day when the snow stops.

The Ground keeping is very Sad at best. This last year, we finally have a guys that mows the lawn every week. They’re no shrubs,... flowers or plants like the picture on this listing. Because there's no ground crew, there is trash lining the edge of the property and scatted into the neighboring wooded areas.

There is only ONE maintenance guy. They divide his work between two complexes (The Summit and the Ridge) then also pull the same guy to another location in Clifton Park. Oh, He also does the painting....

It has taken upwards of two weeks to get simple items in the apartment fixed. I wish i could say this was just one call to the office, but it was multiple calls, for the same issue and basically arguing with the office staff to get item replaced that smelled like burning rubber. Read More

What I love most about living here is the private entrances. It is like your walking into a House vs. an Apartment building with a hotel feeling. My apartment has an incredible view. This winter the plowing and shoveling of the sidewalks was very well maintained. The grass is mowed every Monday. I prefer a lawn that is not treated with harsh chemicals. I enjoy playing with my grandson on the lawn. The staff was courteous and friendly. It’s very East to live here. I’ve called for maintenance... once to light my pilot for my fireplace in the fall and it was promptly done. There are many families and children. Walking and playing. It really feels like you live in a nice neighborhood. The air, heat and appliances work very well. Energy efficient. When I rented I inquired how often they raise the rent, they said they just raised it $20 a month after 2 years. Not bad! There is only one negative, No recycling. Read More
