Colonial Manor Apartments

Alright, everything may seem good at Colonial Manor until the winter time and your car is hit by one of the communities snow plow that’s driven by one of the maintenance guys. That’s what happened to us as soon as we moved in back in January but there weren’t any witnesses, just plow tracks leading up to our damaged car and a dented number of the communities truck used for plowing. The community manager Danielle accused us staging the car in the parking lot. The police office that came out for… the report said that the plow truck definitely hit it, they just didn’t admit to it and there wasn’t any paint transfer on either vehicle so we had to pay for the damages. On top of that, our ac froze over at the beginning of the summer when it started getting hot which the “fixed” but ended up coming back another two times within 2 weeks because it wasn’t. I tried telling them multiple times it needed more refrigerant but they didn’t believe me and they finally put more in and it started working. About a week ago our ac froze over again so we put in a maintenance request and they didn’t show up the day they were supposed to so I called again to set up a specific time the next day and they needed up showing up 2 hours late just to tell me they’re gonna have someone else come out another day to look at it because he’s not certified to work with acs. Now the ac guy said there’s a leak and they’re gonna need to replace it because the unit is from the 70s or 80s. Just got a call from Danielle(property manager) saying they’re not going to replace for over another month but they can offer one window unit for the whole place. Our electric bill has been through the roof because of the old unit leaking and us not knowing. And when we don’t have ac and it’s 82 outside, it’s usually about 85 inside which is very harsh on our dog.
