Arbors of Montgomery

My apartment was infested with roaches!!!! I had to throw away everything when I moved! Roaches was in the microwave, and couldn’t have company over because it was so embarrassing!

Here are only a few of the issues we had at arbors of Montgomery:
Mold. 4 active leaks. Broken window. Broken outlet. Flooding from patio(ground level). Random water shut offs without notice for whole building. Metal and broken glass everywhere. Molded boxes stacked outside our window. No drains worked. Maintenance removed fire detectors to do work unrelated to our listed issues and we never saw them again. Rude management who thinks it’s funny that you are living in mold and contaminated water.

Long story short, my partner and I were supposed to move into a unit here. Upon arrival to the apartment, the place was totally uninhabitable. Completely different lay out than what the leasing office had told us, un-renovated which we were told it would be renovated. It was filthy inside, it smelled, floor was cracking, spider webs all over, doors falling off the hinges just hanging off the frame, severe water leak as well as water damage underneath kitchen sink. We explained to them we did not… want to move in and wanted our money back ASAP. We had to put our things in storage and pay $115 a month due to their negligence. We were told a week ago we would have a check “rushed” to us. A week later we still hadn’t seen it. We called the leasing office, who told us to call corporate. Upon calling corporate they said “they couldn’t help us.” We had to physically go up to Sundance Properties and demand our money back ASAP because our current lease is ending and we needed our refund to put down on a new place or we would be homeless by the weekend. I was staying this apartment more than 2 years and encountered various issues from the maintenance team and lease office.

a) There was always leakages since the property is very old, if you called/raised maintenance request they give various reasons and need to wait for more than 4 months to fix multiple man hole on the roof made by the fixing the leakages by maintenance team.

b) Requested for carpet cleaning and never provide a proper time frame based on tenant interest. The team has fixed… time from 9-1 AM (The service team behave like doctors and their patient is going to die due to oxygen deficiency) and leave without providing service. The furniture has to move out and Children has online classes due to COVID pandemic. In spite of multiple times called to lease office the service not provided and scheduled for next day. The lease office has to approach better service persons for carper cleaning and provide flexible time for tenants.

The only advantage is single bed room apartments are comparatively better rates and all amenities and returners, shops are walking distance from apartment. Read More
