This place gives you a “price” that you are going to pay and then you quickly realize how many additional charges they have when you read the lease. Just putting this on everyone’s radar. I would stay away from- but read very carefully if you do rent here!

I have lived here for four years and would continue to if I didn’t have to relocate for work. Maintenance staff (Anthony) is AMAZING. Office staff are friendly. Building is clean and very secure. Fitness Center is nice. Location is convenient to downtown, Xavier, several shopping areas, and restaurants. It’s a bit expensive but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Grandin House and would recommend this property.

Looked like a nice place and leasing agents were nice, but they tricked me into applying for an apartment that they said would be available during the time I was looking and then after paying the fee and deposit told me it was actually not available. I have no idea if they did this on purpose. I won't speculate, but it was a major waste of time and money.

I am sorry to hear you were unsatisfied with your experience with us, but we never charge a deposit when a unit is not actually available, which it wasn't at that time. All application fee's are non-refundable, and we try to be as clear as... possible when prospects are applying that an application does not guarantee that an apartment will become available. You can find better apartments all over Cincinnati with Towne or NAProperties. I lived at Grandin for 2 years and they will try to charge you a lot of moneys (thousands) for phony repairs. It’s part of their strategy to keep the apartments updated. The cost isn’t worth the General living space and the outside looks like a old person home. AC will keep you up at night and is in the family room and bedroom by either the noise or it not working at it being very hot. Elevators are suspect. The... parking garage and location is nice.

I lived at the Grandin House for 7 years and think it was a great place to live. The location is great (5 min to downtown) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The best thing I can call out though is that I never once heard a neighbor through the wall/floor/ceiling. I had neighbors on all sides and never heard a TV, Stereo, Argument, etc. Indoor parking and recent renovations (exercise room/outdoor grill area) also made for a nice living environment. I would definitely recommend... to anyone that commutes to downtown Cincinnati.
