cockroaches
This apartment complex looks nice but pay attention to the details and all it’s imperfections will reveal itself, starting with the management. Promises never fulfilled, cockroaches EVERYWHERE and they renovated half way more so on top of dirt

very very poor
If I could choose, I would give this apartment 0 star. For the following reasons:1. There are cockroach everywhere and other bugs. 2. Rats came into my room many times, I told the office, but no response. 3. Packages lost many times. 4. The heat opens in early October, when it is really warm, and still open until now(April 5), when it is 80 degrees outside, the hear is still open at a very high level. I called the office but no response. 5. The AC does not work well, the staff came, but did... nothing and left, never came back again. This place really sucks, I will move out! Can't bear anymore. Don't waste money on this terrible place.

Property Management Cares about Residents
I am very pleased and impressed with Gaslight Property and The Overlook at Clifton Apartments. My apartment search was very stressful until I found Gaslight who helped me to find the perfect property for me. In particular I wanted to find a place that would accept my German Shepard, was walking distance to the University of Cincinnati, and fit in my budget. The Overlook at Clifton fit the bill beautifully. I was able to lease a newly renovated apartment with an updated bathroom and kitchen,... hardwood floors, a dishwasher, a microwave in addition to the usual amenities. It was about a 20 minute walk to University of Cincinnati and in cold weather there was a bus stop just down the road. One of the best things about The Overlook at Clifton Apartments was that the property manager Nancy was very responsive to my emails, sometimes responding within an hour. When I was unexpectedly transferred to a new job out of state, The Overlook at Clifton did everything in their power to help me find a solution for the rest of my lease. It isn’t every day that you find such exceptionally responsive property management that really cares about their residents. And I felt very fortunate to have found such a place.

The Overlook
If you are into quiet and nice neighborhoods then you should come here. For students is a 5 minute walk to the UC shuttle stop making it easy to get from apartment to campus. The pool in the complex has been greatly improved since I first moved in which shows me that they listen and care about the tenants requests. That being said, it is not unusual for a maintenance issue to go days before getting addressed. The mixture of families, foreign students and new graduates gives The Overlook a nice... community feel.
