Overpriced, Cheap, and Terrible management
This negative review unfortunately needs to be so long that it will have to be broken into sections.
Parking-
The parking situation is an utter disaster at Lusso. There are two garages on site which will cost you $130 a month for a pass. However, there is plenty of space for all residents to be given a pass, I have never seen the garages even a quarter full, so its unfortunate they charge so much for a crappy garage. If you do not pay the $130 a month you have to fight for a total of around 30... surface parking spaces where your car is extremely likely to get broken into with no recourse from management. I was one of the first residents to move in while there was still major construction going on and even though I paid for the "secure" garage, my car window was still smashed and my belongings were taken. They have also started towing cars which do not park in designated spaces and gave their residents a total of 3 hours to move cars based off of an email before they starting dragging cars out.
Units-
The units seem nice at first glance but were clearly built quickly and cheaply with no care at all. After moving in my washer did not work and it took maintenance over a week to resolve the issue. My shower and sink heads were clogged with debris which I had to clean out myself. My main door was also missing weather stripping along the top which lead to lots of noice making its way into my unit. My oven and fridge also had noticeable damage along the front panels likely from improper handling during installation. Lastly, the cheap vinyl flooring has noticeable soft sports all over.
Common Areas-
Elevators break ALL THE TIME with no communication from the office on when things will be fixed or when they are fixed. Its extremely annoying to lug groceries up the stairwells that are not climate controlled. Hallways reak of trash and mildew no matter how many air fresheners they put around the buildings. The gym always has broken equipment and the AC cant keep the temperature under 75 in the spring.
To top it all off, they offered me a renewal "deal" of an increase of $100 on the already overpriced rent as well as staring an amenity fee for unfinished and unmaintained amenities. Needless to say I will not be renewing my lease when it is up and I am counting the days until its over. I would strongly advise you look elsewhere for you apartment hunt.
