Best affordable downtown apartment

I’ve lived here for 5 years and recently moved out due to personal reasons. I truly had a great experience living here. The community is well diverse and the staff is wonderful! Highly recommend if you are looking for affordable living in the Columbus downtown area!

First Apartment Living in Downtown Columbus

This was the first place I stopped when I wanted to move downtown and I just walked in, asked what they had available and they showed me a unit. Easy! The rent was fantastic, the interior was really nice, I like the vintage look of the place. The location is excellent, it is really close to my job. I lived there for 2 years and 8 months. Sometimes I regret moving out!

The staff is amazing, I always had good help with the maintenance and the leasing agent. Never any problems. The building is... very well insulated so it stayed cool in the summer and warm in the winter, despite there not being any central air in the units.

The community there is really nice too. Long term residents that are friendly and know what's going on.

The laundry and fitness rooms are fantastic. I loved having what felt like my own private gym. Sure sometimes things would be taken up, but not having to pay a gym membership really saves on the money.

All and all, I couldn't recommend moving here enough.

Best Place I Have Rented From

The Americana is a great apartment. The staff are friendly and responsive with maintenance requests. My best friend lives one floor above me and I would say that it is a positive community. The location is hard to beat, as it is walking distance to both downtown and German Village. I have been so impressed by the Americana that I even recommended it to a co-worker who ended up moving here as well. The only reason I am leaving is because I am moving out of state, but if I return to Columbus, the... Americana is my first choice.

Overall, it is well run facility, in a fantastic location, and a good value in price.

Great place to live!

I've been a tenant for 16 years! The reasons:
1. Rent is reasonable.
2. Public transportation and highways readily accessible.
3. Very well kept and incredibly quiet!
4. Diverse tenant population.
