POOR MANAGEMENT

The most basic need of good quality sleep is never assured here.
Been here for a year now and I've been experiencing noise issues AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH, mostly about three times per month, and it happens from 11 pm - 3 am.
The management team is not doing anything about it, regardless of the number and the seriousness noise complaints you report. The officer is always off duty, and the AI just keeps telling you 'We will solve this as soon as possible'
I asked so many times about respect or… re-establishing the quiet hour rules, and they never do anything.
So disappointing.

Luxury furnished apartment

I’ve lived here for about half a year now and my experience overall has been good. The amenities are nice, the building is well maintained, and the maintenance members are punctual. I would definitely recommend The Griff for any OSU students looking to get off campus but not wanting to deal with the hassle of buying and moving their own furniture!

Best Place I've Lived so Far

Have lived here for 3 years now and I love it! It has everything you could need! The amenities are nice and the parking is free!

Not worth the money

I’ve been living here for 5 months now and it’s meh at best. Test it looks all nice and fancy but like someone else said, you’re paying for amenities that are broken often or closed (I used the pool once after move in and then they closed it bc of chemical issues and “it’s getting cold” - it was warm/hot for another month+). I’ve asked “is this being fixed?” And they say yes, but two months have gone by with no change. Also, they never told us you’re charged a common area electric fee, but you… are so that makes your electric bill go up. The place isn’t very clean (and that is mostly the residents fault) when I moved in my apartment was dirty and had paint everywhere - I took so many pictures to avoid issues when I move out next year. front desk staff is super friendly. Also, SUPER noisy. When it’s warm you can hear everyone outside even if they’re having a conversation at a normal voice level, and from the inside you hear every step your neighbors take and if you’re unlucky like me every ffin thing they drop and when they jump around. Compared to other apartments the price for the space and location (close to OSU campus) is worth it IF you’ve got roommates (parking is free or garage for 50/mo which I liked). If you’re getting a single it’s a scam, please move somewhere else, there are nicer places throughout grandview for the same or less rent. Ultimately, if you’re an OSU student and only need a place for a year go for it, or if you can stand it two years. But I’m gonna be at OSU through grad school so I am moving out because it is not worth the money, I’ve found a much nicer place 5 minutes away for cheaper for a single apartment.
