Don’t waste your time renting here.

The building is poorly made; thin walls and no sound barriers from your upstairs neighbors. Homeless people living in vacant units and common areas. Secure access doors consistently being broken allowing anyone to enter. Garage gate always broken allowing anyone, including vandals and non-paying individuals to access. Millipede infestation on property grounds and in first floor units. Unresponsive and unhelpful maintenance crew that will enter your unit... without permission and no emergent issue. Unresponsive and unhelpful office staff whom you have to call, email, and submit portal complaints multiple time before receiving a response. Valet Trash servicing only once a week instead of the 5 contracted days; this means trash buildup in the hallways and management refuses to properly address the situation. Non-residents gaining access to amenities such as the rooftop pool and throwing parties with over 50 people, for which management will do nothing about. Packages constantly getting stolen from the secure package room and management not taking responsibility despite having cameras in the room. Thrive pushing off the burden of cost to their residents by selling their utilities and parking garage(s) off to 3rd parties. The building is sub-metered through NEP so in conjunction with that and the poorly constructed buildings, expect $500+ utility bills in the winter for a 720sq ft apartment.

There is no chance an initial inspection was completed prior to our move-in! The AC was broken for our first week here (during the summer heatwave), our fridge’s ice maker leaked water everywhere, AND our washing machine was completely broken. For the washing machine we were told the complex had 400 units with defective washers, and were put on a multi-week hold due to a “global chip shortage” before being able to wash clothes in our brand new unit.

This place is infested with millipedes. They come out every single night, or when it rains and they crawl on everything. In the morning you would hear the sound of dead ones crunching beneath your feet every single time you chose to walk through the courtyard. They get inside all the time, too. I’d recommend staying away if you’re squeamish
