Many Problems to Fix
TLDR Version: Don't move here until the fix all the problems. And there are many of them.
1. Safety & Security - right now, there are 3 main doors to our building that are open to everyone because one thing or another does not work. One door simply doesn't close and maintenance can't fix it. One door has been unlocked the entire time I've lived here, and the one door that does actually lock has 4 other unlocked and open entrances to the same area (I honestly can't believe they paid someone to... design the security system that makes no sense)(bonus: one of the main doors often doesn't open from the inside, so careful if there's a fire).
The door that has been unlocked for months was used by a group of about 50+ people to throw themselves a party at our pool, and utterly destroy it. Best part? Some of them were carrying guns. We know this because one of them left their gun at the pool overnight. Don't worry though, I saw our dedicated maintenance crew hand it back to him in the middle of the street the next day. Turns out he was squatting in the Sage and maintenance even let him in to the building afterwards, because he couldn't get in himself. Well done, Thrive!
2. Garbage - sometimes the garbage people come, sometimes they don't, you never know. Worst part? There are many garbage cans throughout the property that are rarely, if ever, emptied. I had to move one out of the elevator area because the smell became too unbearable to even do a 3 second walk through (that was about a month ago, still hasn't been emptied). There is one by the grills has had the same trash in it since April. I was hopeful last night when I saw people in thaat area around midnight thinking maybe it was someone emptying the garbage can, but alas it was just more people trespassing on our property that the police had to come remove.
3. Cars - if you have one, don't park it in Jeffrey Park. Cars are constantly getting broken into and stolen. Just yesterday leaving the parking garage, sure enough a poor little Jeep with its side window smashed and glass everywhere. This has been happening for years and neither Thrive nor the police care to do anything about it.
4. Maintenance - good luck! I once put in a ticket to have the door that's been unlocked fixed. No communication, they just closed it 2 weeks later without fixing it. When I responded to them letting them know I just walked in the door 5 minutes ago and it was still unlocked, they told me to make another ticket. Geniuses.
