Hamilton House

I moved in here in at the beginning of January 2022. Some of the problems from the beginning were, there was a leak in the bathroom sink. The patio door wouldn't open. The kitchen cabinets are in poor shape.

I went and bought and installed shelf liners in the cabinets the 1st weekend I was here to protect my dishes from being scratched. The wood and pieces of metal have started to come through the shelf liner. Wood dust comes down on any of the dishes that are under a utensil drawer. This is… the condition of this kitchen.

There are a lot of other things. But the biggest problem for me is the kitchen, and I am upset at myself for ever agreeing to rent this apartment without getting a chance to inspect it. I wouldn't have rented it if I had the chance over again. Read More

Can't sing my praises enough. The apartment complex was always clean and well kept. It was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was top notch and always took care of things quickly and efficiently. The amenities were always available when needed and were well taken care of. The availability of internet options was a huge plus. I could go on and on but trust me, the almost five years I spent here were amazing. I have been living at Hamilton House for a couple of months now and I could not be happier with my choice to move here. The apartments are all very quiet -- the walls are thick and stop noise well. Upon moving in, my apartment was very clean and freshly painted with new carpet. Even though I am renting one of the apartments with a more 'dated' kitchen, my kitchen is spacious and all of the appliances are excellent.

The common areas of the apartment are very nice and very clean: other reviewers… have noted that the building looks and feels like a nice hotel and I completely agree! the pool tables in the lobby are a great amenity and i often play a game or two after work. The outdoor pool is also very nice: i have only had one opportunity to stop by and swim so far, but the water was kept very comfortable, and the area was extremely clean.

I'm also thrilled with how well management maintains the property outdoors. the landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. more importantly, management takes care to ensure that the exterior steps and railings are maintained. As an attorney with a number of older clients that have been injured at apartment buildings, i can assure you that this is not the case everywhere, and I am so glad that Hamilton House takes pride in keeping their premises safe and clean.

Some reviews I have seen have noted that there are a lot of elderly residents at Hamilton House. This is true, but I can not imagine why this would be a negative. Everyone I have met has been kind, and ,again, the property is extremely quiet. There are also a mix of residents my age (26) and a little olderas well. I'm also very glad to live this close to Target, Marks, and all of the other stores and restaurants in the area (e.g. I highly recommend Piccolo, which is maybe only a 10 or 15 minute walk from my apartment.)

In all, I am absolutely thrilled to live at Hamilton House and plan to stay here for several years to come. If I had to come up with any negatives, I would say that I wish the exterior doors worked on a key fob system like other apartments I checked out before renting, rather than a conventional key. Also: Cellphone recetption in many of the common areas is completely non existent. In fact, service in my apartment is so spotty that I have started using an internet phone app to ensure that I don't miss calls. Hamilton House Apartments are one of the best apartment houses that I have stayed in. I have been here 1 and half years and plan on staying there for at least a couple of years more. The apartments are really peaceful and quiet and still within walking distance of all major stores - Target, Marcs, Walmart etc. They even have courtesy shuttle that runs every week or so to take the residents to some of the shopping places that are probably not accessible by foot.

The common areas after the… recent modernization look amazing with a waterfall feature stealing the show. The lobby area looks like that of a posh hotel rather than an apartment complex. It gives you and your guests an amazing feeling. New pool tables and gym accessories are amazing. The common areas are kept extremely neat and clean with daily maintenance.

Leasing office people - Tina, Susan and Linda are always pleasant and you can talk to them about anything and everything. They are extremely helpful in all regards. Maintenance staff is very efficient and quick. They are helpful in all regards and you can always find someone from the maintenance working on something or the other or looking for something to fix and tidy up around the apartments.

Icing on the cake are all the community events. There is at least one major event every month in the summer from Ice-cream socials to a BBQ cook out to movie showings. They really look after their residents!

All of the other apartment complexes around this area (and I have stayed in two of the other) look pale in comparison to Hamilton House. Read More
