When I first moved here there were monthly luncheons and occasional holiday get togethers for seniors. There has been nothing for three years. It is to everyone’s advantage to promote camaraderie and fellowship. We seniors feel undervalued.

Sidewalk repair, need for walk in showers As always maintenance is great. Was glad to see landscape pre treat the grass, its looking good.
I feel walk in showers would be a great asset to Brookstone senior living. ( i fell in my tub several years ago) they are very difficult to get in and out of due to the 2 different heights of the inside and outside of the tubs.
Sidewalk repair is v e ry poor quality. They did pick up the piles of concrete but have left piles of wood with nails sticking out... of them and caution tape mixed in piles of wood and some sidewalks still have the wood frames sticking out of them. This is over 3 weeks now and i dont think they are coming back.. .it is dangerous for those of us using walkers and canes and also children could step or fall into these woodpiles with nails????

Increase in rent Having lived here 10 years with average rent increase of $30-$40 needless to say i was sshocked when my rent increas was $150. After section 8 im still up almost $100 and my SS never increases that much. Even though this is a significant blow to my budget, i consider this home and plan to stay here as long as i can. One last thing, i did not have the advantage of receiving this notice of increase 60 days in advance of my lease renewal. Thank you for reaching out for my... opinion
A walk in shower in the senior apartments would be a great asset to this community. The tubs are very dangerous due to being on 2 separate heights.

A nice, quiet place to live
My only complaint is the lawn and garden care. Gardens are not weeded and are really looking worse year by year. Lawn guy drives industrial size mower all over the complex leaving deep ruts in many places. They do a good job on bushes and did trim the trees this year.
Greg and Ryan are on top of maintenance . They answer reqests quickly and efficiently
