Paper thin walls.
Old decent building in an okay neighborhood. Fair price. Very small bedrooms but they do have some 2 bedrooms. Extremely small parking lot. My friend lives in this building and I have a hard time backing my truck out of the tiny parking lot.
The problem is the paper thin walls. You can hear neighbors stomping and walking around all the time. There's no insulation and it sounds like neighbors are dropping weights on the ceiling all the time.
I could barely tolerate a few hours in my friends... Balboa Village apartment it was so much noise from upstairs neighbors stomping and walking. I've lived in apartments over 50+ years and never heard so much noise from upstairs neighbors in my entire life. There's paper thin walls/floors in this building making it very loud.
