My landlord has taken great care of her tenant: diffusing conflicts quickly and with great tact, as well as repairing issues as they arrive.
However, my chief complaint is the level of noise. The walls and floorboards are thin and provide minimal insulation. I can hear with perfect clearness all of the day-to-day going-ons of the lives of my neighbors. I would obviously prefer not to hear these things, but I can not too be angry as the neighbors are generally courteous and are pretty aware of… their noise levels. It is not ideal as it often feels there is no privacy and room to live life freely. These mundane every day sounds of life are not sounds we should have to constantly fear emitting, and I encourage anyone who seeks housing in this establishment to first ask themselves if they feel capable of living as quietly as possible, as well as confident that they will not let their temper get ahead of them when someone nearby has a louder day than they'd prefer.
Additionally, sometimes repairs would take longer than usual to happen. On more than a handful of occasions, the two washer / drier setups in the laundry room often had issues and left my clothes wet and mildewy before I was able to acquire more quarters. Read More
