Train Whistles
Pros and Cons
The property is sandwiched smack dap in between two train tracks that are used every single day. Saturdays the train to the east of the apartments runs every two hours at night and blows the whistle all the way through town. Track a mere one block away.
The track right in *front* of the complex (west side) runs every other day blasting on the whistle from one end of town to the other also. If you don't mind being woke up every two hours by a train whistle at your window then... you'd just love this place.
Some of the residents think they own the place. A few bullies live here, a few drug dealers live here, and homeless people hang out around here.
They hang out here b/c some of the residents allow them to shower and sleep overnight at their place. I can't help but feel it may be at a cost to the homeless person.
The units seem to be well kept considering how old they are. Everything is within walking distance. For the most part, it is a quiet area.

Not sure if I feel safe here.
Some people think the rules don't apply to them. Smoke free? What a joke! They let all the drug addicts in here.i'm actually thinking of moving.
