Great place to be if you don't mind a lot of noise from the streets, are empathetic towards the plight of the homeless people and drug addicts who crowd the front of the building all the time, and like to buy your goods locally instead of ordering stuff online. Also, you'll need your own AC unit, but once you have it, the rooms are comfy, and when the forest fires kick up each year the windows are well sealed and keep the worst of the smoke out really well. That's why I moved here in the... first place, to have nice solid windows that keep the forest fire smoke out.

A decent building in a terrible location. A mile in any direction would be a better pick for local amenities.
