The building and apartment themselves are wonderful, but unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the leasing team or staff.
Maintenance has improved since the previous maintenance employee left, but the new employee is still frequently rude and seems unwilling to do his job. More concerning is the way certain residents appear to be treated differently from others. The unequal enforcement of rules is so obvious that it has become extremely frustrating. Some residents are allowed to leave… belongings outside their apartment and have trash everywhere while others are repeatedly told they cannot. There are also frequent unnecessary notices, excessive personal questions, and charges that seem difficult to justify.
Even simple requests, such as having a work order submitted, can become unnecessarily difficult. The trash room is consistently dirty, overflowing, and smells terrible, while the carpets frequently smell like animal urine.
There are also ongoing concerns about people who appear to be intoxicated or using hard drugs in and around the building, which makes the environment uncomfortable and, at times, unsafe.
Utilities and other costs have continued to increase, even when new amenities are added that residents did not ask for, such as the snack machine. Meanwhile, something as basic as coffee is apparently unavailable to residents because it is kept inside the leasing office with the door closed 99% of the time.
Overall, the building itself has a lot of potential, and the apartments are great. Unfortunately, the poor management, inconsistent treatment of residents, cleanliness issues, and lack of basic resident services make it difficult to recommend living here.

We were unable to locate a record under… the name associated with this review as a current or former resident or prospect, which makes it difficult for us to look into the specific interactions described. That said, we take feedback about our community seriously.

We have a great deal of confidence in our onsite team and the care they bring to this community each day. Our entire staff cares deeply about our residents and takes pride in creating a positive living experience. We stand behind their commitment to being helpful, respectful, and responsive, as well as the care our maintenance team puts into completing work thoroughly and accurately.

We also want to provide a little context around some of the concerns mentioned. Our team routinely walks the property and addresses items left in hallways and other common areas when they are observed, with the goal of applying community policies as consistently as possible. Trash areas are serviced daily, with additional deep cleaning performed regularly, and we continue to address cleanliness concerns as they arise.

Resident notices are sent when needed for maintenance, inspections, community operations, or other necessary communication, and we do our best to provide residents with as much advance notice as possible. We are also aware of certain concerns involving activity around the community and continue to take appropriate steps to address them.

Utility costs can fluctuate based on rates and usage and are not determined by the onsite team. The community market has also been a very popular amenity with residents and is restocked frequently. Complimentary coffee remains available as well, with some supplies kept with the leasing team so they can stay stocked and available for everyone.

We’re sorry to hear that this has been your impression of the community. We genuinely care about the experience of the people who call our community home and remain committed to maintaining a welcoming, well-cared-for environment. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

Worst place ever

Unsafe, both neighbors and apartment complex. People are constantly being let in, strangers that is. You can hear upstairs neighbors 24/7. Utilities are outrageous, and billed back to all residents. I would not recommend- I’m moving out soon and can’t wait to be done with this place.

Do not recommend

Not a good place to live. Paper thin walls, constant dog waste in hallways, loud neighbors, not a safe neighborhood. No insulation, hot in summer and cold in winter. So much noise on interstate even with everything closed it sounds like you’re on the street. Disrespectful neighbors, smokers everywhere you go. I regret moving here. Looks nice but it’s just a facade.

We understand that concerns about noise and safety are important. When noise issues are reported, we investigate thoroughly and take… appropriate steps. We encourage residents to reach out directly when disturbances occur so we can address them promptly.

Regarding dog waste, our team regularly monitors and cleans common areas, but we do rely on reports from residents to help us respond quickly. While we haven’t received recent complaints about waste in hallways, we’re always ready to follow up when notified.

As for the city noise, being close to major roads does come with some background sound, though many residents find it quite manageable with windows closed. That said, we understand this can vary by unit and personal preference.

Disappointed

I moved in beginning of year and would not recommend. Extremely loud neighbors, constant smoking of weed and cigarettes on my floor- Im allergic. Package theft outside of your own door, no not by strangers but neighbors. Can hear every step above me and constant noise from neighbors and outside. It never stops. Maintenance guy starts leaf blowing around 8am every morning, super annoying. Trash comes multiple times a week anytime from 2-6am and it will shake the entire building- I’m not even on… the trash street side and it’s so loud. It’s very poorly insulated and constructed so cheaply. Had they spent more money on soundproofing it would have made a big difference. Cleaning crew are always nice and happy, smells good in hallways. Dog run is great. They charge common utility split between residents. Also not fair for a person to split same as people of 3 for example in same size unit. Don’t make sense. Elad is always trying to be helpful. I can’t wait to my lease is over. I had high hopes but sadly won’t recommend. Don’t make the same mistake I made, you will likely regret it.

Lovely place to live!

The Jasper has been nothing but wonderful. Elad and Mar who manage the building are great and attentive. The unit itself it perfect for what I need. Great community.
