Moreland Place Apartments

They entered my apartment without posting notice and their staff is condescending and rude. My cold water handle for the bath tub has been leaking since move in and they didn't re key the unit before I moved in. Princeton is a joke of a management company.

Have been here for a little over a month but I've already got something to say.

The really good thing about this place is the outstanding management. The property manager and the maintenance guy are both amazingly good at their jobs. They really went out of their way to fix little things that have needed attention and making us feel at home.

The one bedroom is big enough for us, and the place is laid out well.

The 2 bedrooms have a lot of space, the appliances are fairly new and they are clean. Location is great, near Powell and major bus stops. Also, easy access to laundry room and a pool.

This apartment has worked well for me and my husband. Quick description: It's close in, off SE 28th and Powell. It's a 3 minute walk to a #9 bus stop. There is a pool and we are situated in a neighborhood. We have a 2 bedroom and it's very spacious. The second bedroom is an office with a futon and we've had 4 different guests stay comfortably.
Pros:
Location. We like how close we are to places we like, the bus stop, and that we're not actually on Powell with all the traffic.
Management. Has... replaced both our oven and dishwasher when we reported they weren't working very well. They did it fast and with new appliances. That really surprised me and I appreciated that.
Price. This was the most affordable 2 bedroom close in SE in a decent neighborhood that we could find.
Cons:
No washer/dryer hookups, so there is an onsite laundry room. Some neighbors don't clean up after their dog, which is gross. And water and sewage is pricey. Read More

Moreland place is located in SE Portland, close to all the goodness Portland has to offer. The area is clean, inviting, and quiet for being so close the city. I have never had an apartment that was so quiet, even though the hustle of a major street is just a block away. Good laundry on site, pool, and plenty of parking! Unlike many places in SE, I feel safe and welcome here.

While I don't want to live here forever, I certainly love it for where I am in my life. It's just small enough to feel... cozy, and large enough for my queen sized bed. It's renovated to look fresh and inviting, with an amazing view of the sunset! Plus, our landlord is firm, but empathetic.
