The Emery Apartments

If you want access to the most diverse transportation in America, the Emery is perfect. Hop on a sky tram, train, get a Pedicab, or rent a bike. We used to love living here, but things have really tanked since the new management Norris and Stevens came on. We’ve had numerous trash and cardboard pile ups, inconsistent office hours, and the after hours number doesn’t connect you to emergency maintenance. The elevators have been out of service several times from regular maintenance which is fine,... but several shorter periods where it gets stuck on a floor and you can’t get the door to shut . Management denies this happens. The water doesn’t work right in the lounge and the persistent trash smell in the halls has led to numerous people we’ve spoken to moving out. Read More

The Emery is an excellent option for me to live in Portland, for its perfect location, kind staff, friendly communities, and good public facilities. Emery is a sweet home for me to live abroad. Some small concerns can be optimized though, I am happy to rate it as 9.8/10 scores still, and glad to share my experience with others, especially the students in OHSU.

The Emery is an ideal place to live! The walkability for me is unmatched with the proximity to OHSU. Virgie and Marjorie are amazing and very welcoming. The leasing and move in process was very easy. The building is safe, secure, and quiet. I definitely recommend The Emery to anyone looking to live in the South Waterfront area.

The Emery, located at South Waterfront in Portland, provides clean, tidy and well maintained apartments in a safe environment. The fully functional kitchen, washing machine, dryer and A/C is a definite plus. The management team is super friendly and always there to help or just around for a short chat. It is definitely a plus having them onsite.
