Stone Hill Apartments

Stonehill Apartments is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The owners cannot keep a property manager, and when the owners are the point of contact, they ignore both calls and emails. They also do not have regular hours unless there is an office manager. When tenants put in work orders, maintenance will close them without even looking at the issue. The 24 hour maintenance situation is a joke. It took the emergency messaging service over 4 hours to actually get a hold of the on call... maintenance person about a leak, and the person was calling the maintenance person every 15 mins. Then the maintenance person brushed off the issue as residual water from a leak that was taken care of the week before. There was no communication (they never communicate with tenants) that a leak happened in my apartment, and had to be repaired. The buildings also have mice. You can hear them squeeking in the cabinets. The lawn maintenance is a joke, too. The owners won't have the bushes trimmed, so they become overgrown and cover the sidewalks. Dog poop bags are left in piles by the front doors and the owners/management doesn't look into who has the disgusting habit. There is no privacy because the front doors are thin and hollow, so you can hear everything through them- and I mean EVERYTHING. You can smell cigarettes, weed and other people's cooking in your apartment. They refuse to properly fix air conditioner units in the heat of the summer with only 1 or 2 windows that open and threaten residents with a lawsuit when the resident tells them they they are paying for the air conditioner to be repaired and taking the cost put of the rent. They also put a "bandaid" on leaking plumbing issues, resulting in water constantly leaking into the apartments below and mold growth. The pool and gym cost additional money, but the pool is never open all summer. It is frequently closed because it isn't properly cleaned and maintained, resulting in the water turning green. You also can't use the grills unless you pay to use the pool. StoneHill Apartments is a 0/10 I do not recommend.

This place is the worst place to live had a leak in my apartment for over a week they just let it leak all over the place they block me from paying my rent online to make it harder for me to pay and the answer was just because they could. The amount of trash that is all over the place is absolutely ridiculous The dog park half of it is covered in trash you don't even want to let your dog run around in it because you don't know what they could eat. If you’re ok with mold, roaches, and water leaks this is the right place for you! They’re listed as upscale apartments yet they’re far from it. Cabinetry is weathered and worn, rust around the sinks. Pests upon move in. Management is atrocious and can care less about the residents who live here. They don’t fix any problems but they’re quick to ask for rent come the first.

Way to much money for old apartment, they up the rent but don't do anything in the apartment. When you need something done you can never get anyone in the office. I have had water in my apartment for 2 days now and have heard nothing from them. I can't wait to move.

So me and my husband have been living here since 2016 and we've had our share of different managers.

And I can say I don't recommend it here, the dumpster area isn't great and most of the time is messy.

Also, you have to pay for everything no utilities are included. And the lack of storage here is ridiculous.

Honestly, if you're looking for a place to live I would look elsewhere which is what I am doing.
