This company used to be great and still retains some of the great staff from the good old days. In recent years, the management has become more focused on profit than the health and well-being of tenants. My main issues with the property were mold in the air condition unit and management that declined to have them either fully cleaned or replaced, even when it threatened my health. The AC unts are in the wall, and we later found that in addition to being moldy, they created an easy route in for... ants. While staff is reachable, the management who make the decision do not answer the phone or email. In short, this company is benefiting from its reputation but the quality of rental has declined. I lived at the Metro of Wynnewood for over 10 years, in two different buildings, B and D. I just wanted to first start off by saying the staff is some of the friendliest and hard working people I have ever met. They truly do work around the clock as someone is always on call for issues or emergencies. Some of the things that make this place so special is the fact that when it snows the sidewalks, stairways, and roads are almost always cleaned immediately making it easy for people to get to work... in a timely fashion. I also really liked that that around the complex they have several laundry rooms if one is not already installed in your apartment. There is also a 24 hour fitness center that is never packed, this came in handy for me as I did not have to get in my car to go get a workout in. I really like how modern the apartments are as repairs and upgrades are done every time someone moves out. Anytime I ever had an issue it was handled within 24 hours or they would schedule a time that worked best for me, which I thought was special because it shows they care about the people that live their and not just the job. Some added bonuses if you have kids it is right in the Lower Merion School District which is top 10 in PA. It is also close to everything you could want such as: parks, restaurants, shopping malls, grocery stores such as trader joes and and whole foods. The Metro is also 10 minutes from I76 for anyone who likes to go into the city and 15 minutes from Villanova.
