AVOID AT ALL COSTS
If I could give zero stars, I would. Living at Cooper River Farms has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had.
We discovered mold throughout our apartment, including multiple closets, and our downstairs neighbors had the same issue. Management was told about it a week before we moved out, and the maintenance supervisor came, claimed there was no mold, then later admitted it was mold after seeing it himself the night before we left. I’m pregnant and have... asthma, and this situation was handled with complete disregard.
I’ve called the office repeatedly for days, left messages, and spoken to multiple employees who promised call-backs that never happened. Jacqueline White, the property manager, is completely unprofessional and never returns calls or emails. It’s impossible to get anyone on the phone, and when you finally do, nothing is actually resolved.
The lack of care or accountability is shocking for what they charge in rent. And it’s not just maintenance — even the dog park is constantly filled with dog poop, never cleaned, and completely neglected.
Multiple other residents have now reached out to me saying they’ve also found mold in their apartments, which is extremely concerning. Cooper River Farms clearly prioritizes appearances and profits over the health and safety of their tenants.
It’s pretty on the outside, but all they care about is getting new residents in — once you’re there, you’re treated like a second-class citizen.
