Paying more for less. Prices rise, quality falls

We’ve lived in Talison Row Apartments for nearly 6 years, and upkeep and maintenance have always been at the bottom of management’s priority list. Prices keep going up, but quality keeps going down. This year we were told “landscaping wasn’t in our budget,” leaving us with mud, flooding, and ponds of standing water growing algae. Theft, poor trash pickup, and the overwhelming dog waste and smell are constant problems. This complex should not be marketed as luxury.

Amazing

The landscaping on the island sets the tone; immaculate. I moved here not even knowing that Charleston proper had auxiliary islands (silly) but Daniel Island is the best of the best and talison row is quiet, affordable, and so safe from coastal storms. As someone who accidentally ended up living in talison row, I feel very blessed to be celebrating my 4 year anniversary of living here.

Don't Go Outside

The inside of the apartment is okay.

But the management is beyond poor, the maintenance is absolute pain to get out, the walls and ceiling are thin (I can hear every step of my upstairs neighbor), people leave trash bags sitting in the hallway making it smelly, water damage is a possibility as my porch leaks into my living room AND my carpet bedroom, the hot water heater is CONSTANTLY dripping, people smoke even though it's not allowed, and there is always a "reserved" party making the pool...
impossible to use in the summer.

I lay in my bedroom and hear every time someone uses the elevator with the ding and their conversation.

Stay away, as the only pro of this complex is that it is on Daniel Island.

Lovely Living at Talison Row

Thus far, I have genuinely enjoyed living at Talison Row. The Daniel Island location is ideal, the community offers many great features like outdoor pool, walking trails and gym. Michelle, Lisa and Jeanna in the property management office have always been friendly, professional and knowledgeable while assisting me with our rental. The maintenance crew are also fantastic, responsive and helpful, especially, Steve. A true asset to the wonderful team that manage Talison Row. Highly recommended.

On the Island!

We absolutely love living on the Island. There's so much to do and to venture into. Not only is it it's own functioning personal community, but a warm place to call home. The experience has been great!!! The living spaces are roomy and very well put together. The variety of different floor plans is wonderful to accommadate the different diversity that comes onto the island. The amenities throughout are more than expected! The community surrounding is amazing and great scenery. The staff is... friendly and welcoming. We have more than enjoyed being on the Island!
