Plantations at Haywood

I have lived here since September 2025. Between the roaches and the poor maintenance and lack of security, I would look elsewhere. I am going on my 2nd certified letter to have an issue fixed. The first one was because of the AC unit was faulty and took months to fix, not letting me use the heat from November to January. This time for a stray bullet that went through the window. They looked at it once and never came back. There is duct tape holding it together. The bullet is still lodged in the... wall somewhere, where I had to tape up the holes that forensics made to look for the bullet. The inadequate lighting, lack of cameras and on-site security speaks volumes. The toilet has still not been fixed properly and still leaks cauing a high water bill. I will not be renewing my lease and at this point I may have the right to break my lease. Do not remt here. The place is old and unkept, rhe staff is unresponsive. I walked in to tour and when I walked in a women was telling the leasing agents about her stuff being stolen and air not working and they didn’t seem to care and she left and they was like what she wanted and started laughing about her situation and we still toured the place cause we thought maybe it’s not that bad during the tour the place stinked really bad and in one of the tubs was a dead roach so I would say this is a big no, and it seemed like they was trying to overcharge and the leasing... agents didn’t seem to happy to give us a tour so yea 1 star I don’t know how this place is even still running just by taking a tour Read More

I have been a resident here for almost a year and have enjoyed my apartment. I shopped around and they had the biggest apartments in this area for the price. I have not had any issues since moving in and the staff, office and maintenance has been great. Just got my renewal offer and I looked at other places just to see and I have not found anywhere with apartments this large. They gave me a great renewal rate. Cant beat my location either! Plantation at Haywood was once a descent place to live. Cottonwood Management was Perfect compared to this New Management.
This new Management is not concern with your safety at all. They don't do repairs, they do cut the grass for appearance sake. This place as gone to the Dogs. All kinds of people walking around at night. Neighbor's talk of someone going around knocking on doors saying they are maintenance. Turning door knobs, it's just not the same anymore. Take a good walk around in the... daytime and at night before you sign anything. They will not return any money they owe you. So don't put a deposit down before you take a good look around. Read More
