This apartment community has been a great place to live. The amenities are well maintained and very useful, making day-to-day life convenient and enjoyable. The staff is one of the best parts—they are friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with any concerns or questions. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents and work hard to create a positive living experience.
The environment here is welcoming and comfortable, and the residents are respectful and kind, which really... adds to the overall atmosphere. It feels like a community rather than just a place to stay. I’ve had a great experience living here and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a safe, supportive, and enjoyable place to call home.

...compared to the (3) single family (3bdrm) homes I've rented, and the three bdrm townhome I rented for 5yrs in Shipyard...Aquaterra easily competes, and strongly so. Simply based on - 1) "ease of living in neighborhood/building/unit"; 2) "ease of location on isle"; and 3) "ease of amenities;" relatively and comparatively speaking, (like I said...), in my mind, "Aquaterra," definitely competes w/ most...and beats some!!! (In my twelve yrs living here, and most of them as an "active&involved"... single father to my two young sons who were 12 and 9 when they moved here full-time w/ me)...the Aquaterra team has been the most, "respectful...helpful...and professional" property management team I've had the pleasure of dealing w/ here on HHI, (as a tenant). We’ve been living at Aquatera Apartments and absolutely love it here. The community offers tons of great amenities with easy access—everything from the fitness center and clubhouse to outdoor spaces that make daily life more enjoyable. The staff is genuinely friendly and always ready to provide assistance whenever needed. They go out of their way to connect with residents and find creative ways to make the experience even better, which really sets this place apart. The community feels safe,... welcoming, and friendly overall. It’s the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, and we’re especially grateful for the EV charging stations—a huge plus for our Tesla! Best of all, Aquatera is conveniently close to the beach and everything Hilton Head has to offer, making it easy to enjoy island life to the fullest. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality apartment home on Hilton Head!

I’ve been living here for a year and couldn’t be happier with my experience at this community. The entire team is incredibly kind and welcoming—they’ve always gone out of their way to make residents feel valued. The amenities are fantastic and so easy to access for everyone in the community. Whether it’s a quick repair, an emergency, or just a simple question, the maintenance and management teams are always available, responsive, and get things handled in a timely manner. The complex itself is... beautiful, well-maintained, and offers endless options for residents. I always feel safe, respected, and truly at home here. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live on Hilton Head Island!
