I want to make it clear that the property manager/maintenance man, and the woman at the office, are nice people. Somehow they got involved with a property that needs a lot of work. If they manage any other places, we would gladly consider renting from them again. However, these apartments will not be our first choice if we return to the area. All of our apartment's windows were painted shut. There is one power outlet in each bedroom/half of the living room. No power outlets in the bathroom. Not... all units have showers. You can pay another $100 in rent if you want a unit with a shower. Many apartments come with ceiling fans and window AC units, but if they don't, you must buy your own (there is no central AC). You can pay the electric company for gas heating or buy space heaters. Our unit had a major roach problem. A pest control person stops by once a month and sprays, but it did nothing for the roaches. You can have your own laundry dryer in your apartment, but not a washing machine. There is an on-site laundromat, though. There is also a large, semi-fenced in yard where dogs can run around. And the community is quiet at night. This is not a horrible place if you need a home fast. If you can spend some time looking and you can pay another $100-$200 in rent, go somewhere else. Read More
