Inconsistent Communication and Account Handling Concerns
I would strongly encourage anyone considering Stonebridge Lofts to proceed with caution, especially if you value clear communication and proper account management.
During my residency, I experienced multiple administrative issues that were never properly handled. My recertification process was not initiated in a timely manner despite my follow-up, and I was later given conflicting information about notices that were supposedly sent but could not be verified.
When I submitted my 60-day notice... to vacate, I was initially told I owed a break lease fee, then told I was not under a lease, and then my rent was increased and applied immediately without the required notice outlined in the lease. The explanations provided were inconsistent and contradictory.
Additionally, I was approved for rental assistance through Metro Action and completed all required steps on my end. However, the leasing office delayed the process by submitting incomplete paperwork and sending it to the wrong email address. I was first told payment was received, only to later be told it was reversed due to their error. This created unnecessary stress and concern regarding my account standing.
These issues reflect a pattern of poor administrative oversight and lack of accountability. I have made every effort to remain in good standing, but much of what occurred was outside of my control due to office errors.
I would recommend that future residents keep detailed records of all communications and follow up frequently to ensure accuracy.
