MAA Indian Lake

I have lived here for 5 years for several reasons. This property is so immaculate. This staff is so amazing. My unit is so quiet with wooded views a few steps from the trails. Indian Lake Village is where we are. You can do errands, several of them in no time. Everything is here. The buildings are solid and there is no noise at all. It's such a peaceful haven. They installed smart home equipment for no charge. Apartment homes can be controlled with an app. They did upgrades yet we were already… current, so if you like black as I do you can have that or they have chrome appliances as well. The maintenance team: one day service and friendly like family. This is just the very best place I have ever lived. I'm from Los Angeles, so I'm an apartment type...yet this is like a home. I got a random call from the leasing consultant, Jennifer, a day or two ago just to see how things are going and if I'm enjoying the property/ are things okay with my unit. So friendly! I have only left 1 other review ever but my family's experience at Aventura has been horrible and we wish we would have listened to the horrible reviews. We unfortunately couldn't tour the apartments prior to relocating from another state. When we got there the apartment was filthy, we addressed the major issues with maintenance which is the only decent aspect of this facility. We have complained to management regarding our experience with the tenants above us who have been nothing but… trouble to which nothing was done. The last straw was the upstairs tenants flooding our apartment because they let their washer overflow to the point of water POURING into our apartment and didn't call maintenance until the washer was ankle deep in their apartment. We were expecting a manager to contact us for the inconvenience considering we already had shared our concerns with them but I can't even get them to call us back. If you are expecting a park that they advertise, don't get your hopes up, it isn't kept up and the grass is full of dog poop so they can't even go play there. The trash compactor has been broken twice in the 6 months we've been here, there have been dumpsters overflowing and the other area to throw boxes has been overflowing with broken furniture and boxes, the door has been broken off,and we are have to live in that area. We were going to wait until spring to find a house but considering management does not care and the assistant manager that I just spoke with did all but hang up on me and tell me she would have a different manager call me is the reason we are not waiting. She was nothing but rude from the beginning. I did not give her any reason to be so rude, we are the ones that have had nothing but issues since moving and we have been so patient with them. After the management called back, we found out that even though our apartment flooded because of the tenants upstairs and all of the issues we have had with nothing done to address our issues by management, they are refusing to waive our termination fee. So pretty much stay and live in an apartment that is falling apart and will have mold on top of having to throw out some of our belongings because of water damage and not get reimbursed by management in addition to paying extra to terminate our lease. Aventura is a nice, clean, and centrally located apartment complex. The property staff are great and I don?t usually have any problems but if anything goes wrong the maintenance team are very prompt, friendly & efficient.

Wonderful place to live. Clean well maintained. The only problem is there is a major problem with parking. It?s really a problem especially if you come home after 6 pm. There are no spots. Something needs to be done.
