University Edge

year later I am going from a 3 star to a 1 star for university edge and their management team. This is my FOURTH year at Uedge. I have given this apartment complex over $2000 of my money to “Live Different.” If living different means 0 contact between residents and front office staff, then sure give them all your money. Had an issue with a roommate before spring break, resulting in a roommate swap. None of this was forwarded to me or my other roommates by Uedge staff. Over spring break we get... an email saying someone we have never met before is moving into our apartment with her dog. Which wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t have 2 cats that UEDGE knows about. Why move a dog in with cats?? Anyways, Emailed Management and called 4 times before finally getting through to a front staff member, just for him to tell me all of management was busy and they conveniently will be until they close. Oh and they don’t work on weekends so they will get to me Monday. (This was Friday, the new roommate was moving in Tuesday.) there was 0 communication about what was going on. Had I known a stranger was moving in, I would have made appropriate arrangements for my animals and would have locked my bedroom door. I am now flying home early to deal with this fiasco and can’t even get an explanation as to what Is happening in my own home while I am gone. My safe place. Uedge: you will never get my recommendation to anyone moving to the area. Do better. Be better. And care about your residents like you pose that you do. PSA to all the students and parents reading these reviews: they give out t shirts and prizes to people who give them high ratings on here. It’s not genuine. I promise. Don’t fall for it. More than half these people move out after one lease because of the insane charges to their rent and how expensive it becomes. Save your money and your time and live literally anywhere else. I was impressed with the pool, gym and even tanning bed they offer! After seeing the model unit, I knew i needed to stay at University Edge! After a year of living here i’ve renewed again for the next!! My apartment is perfect for me!!

My daughter currently lives a University Edge and I have to say that it is a very beautiful facility. I came to visit her for the weekend and was really impressed with how clean and kept up the whole property is. She has decorated her apartment so cute and it feels just like home. She said that she has really enjoyed her time here at University Edge and plans on staying for as long as she can.

I have loved living at UEdge during my college career! It is such a nice property and super convenient to everything in JC! I highly recommend to any college student!

I am a freshman now at ETSU and for my fall semester I decided to commute to and from campus. The majority of my classes were online but I had one class that met every Tuesday and Thursday. It was tough having to drive an hour+ to and from campus especially for one class. My spring semester worked out to were I had one class on campus again, so I decided to look into living closer to campus. The reason I chose University Edge was because of how close they are to campus and how well their... property is kept. I feel very safe and clean here and don’t have to worry about someone bothering me. The staff here is very nice and moved me in very quickly since the spring semester started in the middle of January. I could not have asked for a better apartment and roommate.
