The Stella Apartments

I lived in the stella apartments for 2 and a half years . I remember when I first moved in everything seems great and they were very good at communicating when I first moved in. But over the years they couldn’t keep a maintenance worker to save their lives which means most tenants like myself had to wait 2 sometimes 3 months before they would come out to my apartment to do my service request to fix my a/c. I went that long during the summer time with out cooling central air. They told me even... after waiting 2 months that I would have to wait until they got to my apt that was on this so called list. Didn’t get my a/c fixed until 3 months by that time fall was approaching. Also I remember I was at work one day and they had the nerve to change my locks on me because they lost the spare key to my apartment. Telling me they needed to get into my apt to fix my faucet in my bathroom had been leaking for 1 and half month that I put in a service request for but they failed to come out until my downstairs neighbors kept complaining about their apt flooding. Not to mentioned I had to rush and leave work early enough to go up to the leasing office before they closed just to get the new key just so I could get into my own apt because they locked me out by changing my locks while I was at work. Office staff very dishonest, unresponsive, and unprofessional. Maintenance request may or may not get a response. Maintenance frequently marked work orders as complete despite not fixing anything Frequently shuts off water for “emergency repairs” may or may not receive warning about water being turned off. Will continue to bill you for community fees even when they haven’t paid their bill with the provider (trash valet and pest control). Never can get access to fitness center

Maintenance is non existent!!!!!!!!!!!
Communication is horrible!!!
But they’re making improvements on their leasing office and the phones are always down.
This summer I’ve had my car broken into and without AC the entire summer. Needless to say I can’t wait until my lease is up.

Do not move here y’all. I’m really being nice giving them 2 two stars right now. I’ve been at the Stella for about 2 years now and since I moved in there has been a constant issue of gnats EVERY SUMMER. Like it’s to the point I can barely cook and eat in peace in my kitchen. The leasing office never answers the phone. Like how the hell do y’all have almost 3 different numbers but never answer the phone? They’re so nonchalant when you come into the leasing office with concerns. And why has their... leasing office been an old un-renovated apartment since the day I moved in? You will be charged a valet fee for trash which they pick up whenever they feel like it, maintenance shows up to fix things when they feel like it. It is Horrible. I stayed there for too long, I should had moved out right away. Maintenance request never fulfilled, management is the worst. They don’t even know what they are doing, they can’t keep records, bad organization. They never fixed the refrigerator for two years, the apartment was full with black mold and make me sick for months. Water came in the house and the carpet was messed up and they didn’t fix it, nor help
I paid for extra month, when they should had accommodate me for their negligence.
