Legends Lakeline

This complex is the worst place I've ever lived in.
The community is extremely noisy. You'll never have peaceful quiet day as long as you live at Legends Lakeline.
When we moved in cabinet doors were falling off. Lights bulbs were missing. There's a terrible odor coming from the kitchen sink. There's a mountain of bird poop on the balcony. And the floors where permanently scuffed and stained.

When we started to approach the end of our lease we were never given a notice to renew or leave. The... office never contacted us. Then we get a notice saying the complex was sold to another company. I thought maybe this will be better, but I was sadly mistaken. The new owners didn't even have access to our lease. We were shooed away when we just wanted to get some information. We tried coming back a week later and the same thing happened. Finally we decide to put in a notice to leave. But when we do the new manager was EXTREMELY RUDE. She was just about the worst manager I've ever has the horror of dealing with. We now have to extend our lease by 2 weeks and are dealing with a ton of added on costs that shouldn't be there. This place is a giant money pit. It's very dirty and not a well maintained community. Definitely not now that they drastically raised the price for rent.

Like a lot of people, I rely on online reviews to help make informed decisions. As we’ve all experienced, it’s often difficult to sort out the positive comments from the negative ones, and to know which ones to believe. I’ve been a resident at Platinum Lakeline Apartments, recently renamed Legends at Lakeline, for 6 years, and have stayed for a reason. It’s a great place to call home! I’ve lived in numerous apartments over the past 20 years, and have had just as many bad experiences as the... next person, but have been really happy here.

Like any apartment community, there has been management and staff changes over the years. Reading over other reviews, it seems that the negative ones are mostly over 4 years old. My experience living here has always been positive, but it has gone from good to excellent since Oden Hughes began managing the property a couple of years ago. I’ve worked in the service industry for over 25 years, and their team is top-notch.

The staff are very friendly, professional, and responsive. Erica, the property manager, genuinely cares about the residents, appreciates feedback, and is always looking for ways to improve our community. Chrys, in the front office, is amazing. She’s always has a smile and goes out of her way to make everyone feel at home. Anytime I’ve ever needed anything, she’s made it happen. Jose and the maintenance staff have always been prompt and efficient.

The property has a resort feel to it. The grounds are nicely manicured, the pool is sparkling, and the gym is always clean. The apartments are great value for luxury living with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, plush carpet, and washer/drier included. The community is safe and quiet, and conveniently located near the metro rail, Lakeline Mall, HEB, Target, Lowe’s and Home Depot, Walmart, and pretty much everything I need, while still being close to downtown.

Recently moved in, 1st floor. We can hear the people above us as they walk, and when their dog runs.

Management had made several simple mistakes in the lease concerning basic math, and had to revise at least 4 times after I had pointed them out.

We plan on leaving as soon as our lease is up.

Good:
-Pool is always clean and decent temperature. One of the better pools I've seen from an apartment

Good location near Metro Redline light-rail transit station. One of the first transit-oriented developments in the Cedar Park, Texas area.
