Do not move here. Consistent issues with office management. Gates never work. Homeless are able to use the amenities. It takes the office weeks to fix anything and/or even reply.

I love the landscape
I love living here and being able to have such a beautiful view of the green belt. Huge trees surround the property and the access the Walnut Creek Park makes it an ideal place to live.

A great community, but for how long?
I've lived at On the Green for several years now (more than 5, but fewer than 10 - I've lost count), and on the whole have been very happy with my experience here. It's a real diamond in the rough: OTG is the only apartment complex on this stretch of Lamar between Braker and Parmer, and has managed to stay removed from much of the light and noise pollution of some of the more commercial areas of north Austin. However, recent commercial encroachment into this are has caused rental rates to rise... (steeply) in the last 2 or 3 years - my rent has increased approx. $300/month in that amount of time.
I don't seek to dissuade prospective tenants from interest in the property; I only want to give the heads-up i'd be looking for if i were in this position. It's a great property, but beware steep renewal rates and urban sprawl if you're planning to stay for more than your original lease term.

i love my apartment
i love my apartment because they have like almost everything they have a kiddie pool the looks like a little beach for toddlers and they have a big pool that goes up too 4 feet deep and they have a dog park and a small playground it looks so cute i love my apartment ive been living there for 3 years and thats mostly it thank you

The best
You know it's really a true thing when they say location matters, but besides from being such awesome apartments the location is just perfect. Maintenance are there attentive to your needs and will get the job done fast. And it really just makes you feel at home, neighbors are very quiet and very respectful and just the energy here is awesome. I would definitely renew my lease when the time comes.
