Stonelake at the Arboretum

This complex is seated very nicely just south of Loop 360, making access getting in and out of the complex onto major thoroughfares extremely easy. In addition, you have many useful businesses within arms reach of the complex, whether it be Costco, Sam's Club, Whole Foods, REI, Target, and more. The current management company (Northland) does a pretty good job maintaining things around the complex overall. Extremely low crime numbers at the complex as well owing to the limited access to the... complex with the gates and how the management company keeps things. Never had a package stolen, and there are Amazon Lockers on-site for your convenience.

It is old however (30 years), and one should enter with that in mind. With that said, it's been maintained much better than many apartments just 10 years old. It won't have everything you might want, but it's a fine place to live, with convenience that really just can't be beat. Read More

Greatly consider other options when searching for an apartment. Despite its stylish design and modern appliances, this complex has significant drawbacks that outweigh it all.

Im placing a 5 star review because of a couple of reasons.

First, location is great, you are near 183, loop 1 and TX-360, so basically everything is 10-15 minutes away. You have the gateway right across the street and there are a couple of things you can do there.

Gym, pool and common areas are always clean and organized.

Lived here for 2 years and had a wonderful experience as a resident at Stonelake. The apartment is conveniently located by major grocery stores and retailers. The management is great always available and willing to help with apartment concerns and issues. Brenda M., one of the leasing consultants is wonderful! She went above and beyond during our moving process when we needed assistance with an issue and we are so grateful for her patience and kindness to be of help to us. I moved to this community from another state after never having even visited Austin before, and I am so happy with my decision! The staff (especially Brenda) made the application/leasing/move-in process a breeze and were extremely helpful and polite throughout. The location is amazing and very scenic despite being nestled in a largely commercial part of town. If you're looking for a place to live in Austin, you can't go wrong with Stonelake!
