Grill only downstairs on the patio, never on the deck, and clean the grill after use. Rinse sand off with the downstairs shower and leave sandy shoes at the door or on the deck. Do not flush feminine products or anything that could harm the septic system. Do not pour grease down any drain. If something breaks, inform the host; damage from careless behavior may incur costs. Lock all doors when leaving the house. Guests asked to leave due to rule-breaking or reckless behavior will not receive refunds.
