Tuscany Park

Moved here almost a month ago, as a single mom of 2 toddlers. My kids aand I really like the apartments from what we saw, and Loved the pool. Since being here the pool has been closed and they kept telling us it will be open soon but never happened. I called again today to see b this was the day they said it will be open again. They said it is actually permanently closed and will not be reopening it! The playcscape is the only other thing around and it’s in horrible condition, the ground around… is torn up, the playscape itself is plain and worn out my kids didn’t even know how to play on it because how it looks.. also put me upstairs above a lady that does not like noise and always hits her ceiling to make my kids and dog be quiet (3 & 1 and a half year old) I even had to get rid of my kids sweet puppy because I could not handle taking both kids up and down the stairs just to let the dog potty.. now with parking.. if you have family or friends that like to visit, these are Not the apartments for you. Wish I knew that.. but they only have 2 visitor parking in each row around the apartments. parking extremely limited. expect to be towed. if you plan to have friends over its not gonna happen.again no parking. my truck was stolen from here and yet to be found.

The management is quite inefficient at there jobs one girl I'll call her S#a gets paper work all wrong or you do your part and she plays on her phone all day and forgets about it and then she makes up a lie and says it's computer problems and I have to re-do all the paperwork again. They all party together. Except for one who does there job GREAT, but they fired her. I think there all kin to one another sisters, cousins and if you have a maintenance EMERGENCY forget it it takes hours or the next… day for the problem to get fixed. The girl that gets paperwork all wrong or when you come into the office she eyes you like it's bothering her to help you so unprofessional!! I'll start with my apartment. I live near the back and its pretty quiet on this end. The grounds are nicer in the common areas but in front of some of the apartments it could use work. There are places where sod is needed. During the high big seasons I've never had a problem with ants; however crickets can get abundant and mosquitoes can be thick. Pest control however is always prompt and comes out and makes a difference. Ground maintenance can be lacking, they have an outside company that does… it and most times they leave the extra trimmings from bushes around which is annoying.

My apartment isn't as spacious as most I have been in but the use of space is very well placed. In the 2 bedroom, living/dining and kitchen are all connected. The kitchen is small, fits 2 adults comfortably and three is hectic. Appliances match, its a standard basic kitchen. GE appliances.

The rooms are on the small side, but can fit a queen bed and 8 drawer dresser comfortably. Only master bedrooms have a walk in closet and those are very nice. Plenty of room.

Your Biggest complaint might be yours neighbors and management is most times lax to really help you especially if it is a noise complaint. You have to call everyday and actually go down there before anything is done most times.

Overall, its a quaint living experience. Not many complaints. No crime,and no noisy children or teenagers. No property destruction. Parking is an issue. Either get a carport ($20/month) or a garage ($50/month) by the time 6pm rolls around you will have to park very far from your home or outside the complex. Close to Walmart and in between Austin and San Marcos.
