Sandcastle Apartments

I moved in here after hurricane Harvey. Sandcastle staff couldn't have been more kind to make this place home. I'm on to my forever home, but will be grateful to all the sandcastle staff during my residency.

25 years this place is still my home. The currect staff and manager help me when I need something. Best location to walk to everything. Especially the shopping center next door that has everything.

Just read other reviews... problems not fixed in past five years with office staff. Maintenance was the only positive experience. Any deposits given here you can kiss goodbye...they don't return even if units are left cleaner than when moved into. Save money and continue looking.

The maintenance and service here are completely abysmal. Since I've been here maintenance requests have always been an ordeal for something so simple. I'm not sure if it's because the staff is lazy, the property management is so cheap and try to keep expenses to a minimum so they get better bonuses, or a combination of the two. During some of the hottest days of summer my air conditioner was not cooling the apartment properly not even at night when it was cooler and instead of having an actual... hvac tech come and look at my air conditioner their solution was to change the filter and remotely lower my thermostat during the day which will only raise my light bill. They have no consideration for their tenants what so ever. On top of this almost all of the washer and dryers in the complex are out of service and all they do is tag them out of order and say "the part has been ordered" I've been here almost 3 years and none of the washers have been repaired, if anything there's more broken now. But don't worry they make sure to spend money making sure the apartments look good on the surface so you don't look too much into it. Very helpful staff. Ali in the front always greets me with a cheerful smile and hello. Mia is quick to answer any questions and is very friendly to chat with. Maintenance and Management are quick to respond.
I love the app they have, it makes it super easy to pay rent, and submit work orders from my phone.
As an animal lover, I wish more people picked up after their pets. I see maintenance out there picking up after people, and it's just not right.

Overall, I highly recommend Sandcastleand I... love my fireplace on these cold nights!
