Jewel On Landmark

I’ve lived here for a while now, and I want to start by saying that the management is much better these days than when I first moved in, by far. The current management team is wonderful. They are responsive, caring, and actually answer the phone, which was not always the case in the past. It’s clear they’ve made a real effort to improve the resident experience.

They also upgraded the garage entry system with the Butterfly app, which has been a great improvement. The new system works well and... makes guest access much easier.

That said, there are still a few significant downsides.

One issue is that the building frequently smells like weed. I understand that this can be difficult for management to control in a multi unit building, but it is noticeable and fairly common in the hallways.

Another downside is the plumbing noise. The pipes in the walls are very loud, so whenever neighbors run water you can hear a tapping or clicking sound. My neighbor showered around 6 a.m. every morning and I could hear it through the wall, which occasionally woke me up.

Lastly, and most importantly, there is a roach problem in the building. Unfortunately, this has been an ongoing issue during my time here.

Overall, the management team has clearly made meaningful improvements, but the pest issue and building noise are things prospective residents should be aware of. Read More

Cannot even go into enough detail it would take me hours to write. Worst place, worst management, worst neighbors. Absolutely disgusting place.

Toured this property last week.
The office team was very inviting , warm , and helpful.
I'm looking forward to moving into this property.

Jewel on Landmark (JOL) has certainly changed for the better since I originally moved in back in 2019 (and it was named Jefferson Landmark). The leasing agents have been very positive to work with and the maintenance team has been incredibly responsive to every request I’ve submitted; in fact, I’ve never lived somewhere with such attentive and respectful maintenance! There are the occasional smells and noises that you’ll see and hear at every apartment complex, but nothing permanent that creates... a security risk that can be avoidable.

I'm thankful they’ve added a dog park and reinforced healthy living habits in the community (i.e. charging residents who put their trash in the hallway without a bin, which can cause the smell to seep into the carpet). The gym is convenient and large enough that plenty of people can workout at the same time. It’s also helpful to know that they’ve taken resident feedback into consideration - i.e. they now will text residents if there’s an emergency of any kind (which I recommended to JOL after our previous management neglected to keep us informed)

Stay away this is a horrible community to live in. We got out of our lease early due to theft and vandalism of our property. After moving out we went back into the office to pay what utilities we had left and were told that was our final bill and owed nothing more! I get a notification today saying I have a new collections account for Landmark for $196 which I do not owe and if we did for any reason you would think we would’ve received some sort of communication via email or in the mail to our... new address but we got neither.
