The Arches at Park Cities

I've lived here three years and have generally had a good experience. Minor issues here and there, but nothing worth complaining about. That changed about a month ago.

The property installed new package lockers, which are genuinely nice. The problem is they switched over to the new system before finishing the prep work. The lock and cameras still aren't installed, so as a stopgap, package pickup is now restricted to office hours only. Need a package after work? Not possible. Sunday? Not… possible. Work a standard 9 to 5 with a commute? You get a few hours on Saturday.

I'm at work all day, so this has been a real inconvenience, and I've had to wait several days to get packages more than once. For anyone getting refrigerated items or medication delivered, this goes beyond annoying and becomes an actual problem.

It's also not applied reliably. This past Saturday I walked up to the office at 4:59pm, one minute before closing, and it was already locked up. I know that sounds pedantic, but if you're going to function as a package room, you need to be open for every minute of the hours you advertise.

The staff are nice, and will update when asked, but communication has been poor. There's been no update on when the locker room will actually be finished, and the new hours weren't announced separately. They were buried in an email, so I didn't find out until I showed up on a Saturday afternoon and ended up waiting until Tuesday.

The lockers themselves are a good idea. The rollout has been handled badly. Installing the lock and cameras before switching over would have avoided all of this. It's been a month now, and it needs to be resolved. Read More

Friendliest staff and best maintenance team. The staff goes above and beyond to help me with any questions and or concerns. The people in this community are really friendly and enjoy chatting with them

As always I have nothing bad to say about it really. I love the events and how much fun they are. I can't wait for the next one! Also when requests are put in they are handled pretty quickly by maintenance. The only thing I wish is that there was a fence or gate around the little dog trail so that I can let my dog of leash to play and explore since she likes the trail a lot more than the dog park. But that's just an idea things are fine now too.

We love the apartment! Wish that the dog park was better and smelled less and that there was more parking, but other than those things we love it!!
