ROACHES/Trash/Odor
I rented this apartment sight unseen while relocating from out of state, and within seven weeks I had already requested to be released from my lease. My apartment has an ongoing roach infestation, a recurring sewage odor that causes headaches, broken appliances that remain unrepaired, and maintenance work that is routinely incomplete or marked "completed" when issues persist. Work orders and even pest control appointments routinely take a week or longer. A plumber investigated the sewage odor... but was unable to identify the source, suggesting it was likely coming from the upstairs AC, yet the smell continues. Common areas are dirty, with trash bags left in hallways and dog waste throughout the property, contributing to the pest problem. After exhausting every option with on-site management, I contacted corporate, but they informed me they will not release me from my lease, meaning I'll have to pay thousands of dollars to leave. I'm moving anyway because I refuse to live with roaches. Based on my experience, this property falls well below reasonable standards of habitability. I would strongly encourage prospective residents to look elsewhere.
