Ridgmar Plaza (New)

Do not waste your time. Ridgmar Apartments is the worse place you should ever want to live. This place is WORSE than the PROJECTS. I should not even insult housing Projects by comparing them to Ridgmar Plaza. Ridgmar Plaza has rats, roaches, unkept areas inside and outside the property, no hot water for months at a time, sewer smells coming from all drains and the worse uneducated management you'd ever DREAM of working with. I only completed my lease because I didn't want my credit affected, if... I wasn't trying to buy a home I would've broken my lease 6 months in . The management here has NO idea how to manage. They have a credit reporting service that wasn't reporting my payments to the credit agencies, the AREA property manager told me to contact Career Builder?!?!?! I have never been so upset and so mistreated by an apartment complex. Anything you can think of it’s probably happening. Loud drunken upstairs neighbor that wants to fight everyone. The bugs make me want to scratch my skin off and clean 24/7 and there is ALWAYS something wrong with the plumbing which affects your heating and cooling. Maintenance is someone different every week and are no we’re near certified for anything but to pick up trash and they can’t even do that. Not gated like advertised... and I’ve been waiting six months for my floors to be redone. Keep all your emails and record any interaction with staff, not trust worthy nor do they care at all about their residents. I have had to contact code compliance multiple times. They make it look good when you move in but then a week later you start seeing a roach hear and there by the 2and week there everywhere. They don't tell you they have a serious bedbug and rat problem. But they do make sure your car gets towed because they don't do stickers for parking. Office willing help you with nothing repair order 7 still nothing was fixed.

Complex has changed hands in last year and now on third management company. They started remodel/repairs but then quit. There are bugs throughout. The property is not maintained except superficially. The pool has not been open for two years and has been condemned by the city. Residents won't carry their trash to the dumpster but instead leave in the poolside small cans. Too lazy to carry out their trash! That's the kind of place it is.

We have just been sold to a new owner. Hoping they will make some good improvement.
