We are disappointed to read your comments about crime issues in the neighborhood and take them very seriously. If you have not done so previously, we would like to encourage you to contact the office and share the details of what you have witnessed... with our manager. One of our top priorities is to work with the Police department to provide reasonable deterrents to criminal activity and to be supportive as they try to investigate incidents that have occurred at our community, in the neighborhood or in our city. We continue to be very supportive of whatever measures the police recommend we take as they actively work to respond and address all criminal activity reports.
Our community hosts crime awareness meetings and we regularly encourage our residents and their guests to take a proactive and common-sense measures to try to prevent being the victim of a crime. Some of those measures include:
• Report any suspicious activity immediately to the police
• Report any malfunctioning locks or lighting to the management office
• Remember to keep your doors and windows always locked and do not to leave valuables visible in your vehicle
• Get to know your neighbors and work with them to be aware of what is happening in and around your home
• Do not walk alone late at night
Most of these suggestions come straight from the police department and we encourage everyone to take them seriously. Read More
