MUST READ
As a veteran, teacher, and coach in this community I would highly suggest not moving here if you have kids. Sanitary reasons cats, roaches, and constant sprays being spread out. For safety reasons such as homeless people sleeping on bench, mold on ac, and police constantly having to come to the apartments. Lastly as an adult that doesn’t like inconvenience, the management are poor communicators, constant rule changes you need to keep up with and fees that just never seem to hit consistently.

Enjoy living at Pines everything is so closed to my home but the staff and the most respectful ppl I met so worth every penny$

Lived here for 10years?WOW
It was cheap to start with. But each new lease went up. Apartments are OLD...OLD! No updates! When I moved in around 2010, there was working gates. But fire Marshall said the entrance needed to be widened for their trucks. Property didnt want to pay to fix gate...instead, they REMOVED the gates! WOW. The property name is THE PINES AT HUMBLE PARK. Tree's were cut down for WHATEVER reason, and NO new ones planted! Burnt out lights were removed instead of fixing them...WHAT! YUP. Pool open... when they fealt like having it open. ONLY bright spot is RIGO...Head Maintenance MAN. Oh...I was broken into twice also. Bug problem was not manageable, even with monthly service. I've found a NICE PLACE..that is actually CHEAPER, and nicer. Pines at Humble have to many ISSUES.

Decent
Apartments are okay. Of course with all apartments management sucks. I did have a few roaches but nothing major. Parking is terrible for guests and tenants. The pros are there is a police station literally in walking distance. It's kind of a hidden gem. The apartments next to them suck. Nothing here is unbearable. As long as you pay your rent on time all is well.

Home away from Home
The staff makes you feel like family. Any issue is handled in 24 hours or less. I forgot my key to the apartment and it was 2 a.m., Mr. Rico was there to open my apartment in 15 minutes. You are not just another number here, but a member of this wonderful community.
