It really has been overall great.
Beautiful apartments in great condition, but the pricing is wildly out of touch with the current market. The management and staff are lovely, the grounds are kept incredibly clean, and the gym is pleasant. It tends to smell good in all the indoor common areas.
Unfortunately, the same thing can be found in town for around 2/3rd the rent. I also wish they would pick one app and stick with it. I no longer have any clue how to access the resident portal and refuse to download another. It doesn't... really matter because I won't be renewing my lease. Complaints are minor - the pool is too hot and the trash pickup too early to be useful, and I never did find the blue bags for recycling that they swear are available at H-E-B.
Side note that isn't positive or negative, but the "flavor" of the complex is changing from working professionals in their 30s and 40s to families and young couples. All these groups are wonderful, so this is just more an FYI.
I stuck around for an extra year because moving is a pain, but between rent and gas/maintenance I'll be saving $1k a month by moving to the Oak Hill/Barton Creek area in Austin - not a "cheap" part of town. I'd like to strongly urge the owners to adjust so that this gem of a community stays vibrant.
