Abbey at Vista Ridge Apartments

There are plenty of places to rent.
The renovated apartments aren’t really renovated.
The parking is horrible.
If you are on the top floor and WALK your neighbors will complain and call the police on u.

Horrible place to live. Moved in 8/2021 and can NOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT!

I lived at this apartment complex between July 2020 and July 2021. The AC system in my apt never properly functioned despite putting in maintenance requests that were supposedly completed. The AC in the apt never got below 78 despite being set for 70, and in some parts of August it got as high as 85. I also put in a request to have the celling fan looked at since it stopped working one day. I had a dog in the apt so I stayed home from work the day they said they were coming to fix it. I received… an email saying that they had conducted the maintenance which was clearly a lie since I was there all day and no one ever came. My favorite part was that when I moved out (because who would want to stay?) I got my deposit back but there was a charge for 150$ for the toilet that needed to be replaced due to staining. The thing is I received the toilet way worse than I left it. I used my military cleaning skills (AKA a toothbrush) to scrub the build up on the inside of the bowl. I absolutely wrote this up on the intake form .... which they conveniently lost. When I was emailing them about it the had the audacity to send me a blank form back and tell me I never filled it out. I took 100% responsibility for the blinds being messed up because my pup was not happy that I left them down and she could not see outside one day, but to be forced to pay for something that I not only didn't do but did my best to make better for myself is outrageous. And to top it off, they sent me to collections for the charge and I had to decide that my credit is more important than being taken advantage of.

Also who rents out the ADA compliant apartment to someone is able bodied??? Just another example of a company trying to make a buck. Read More

This is a horrible apartment complex. The place is run down. My apartment has foundation issues. Large cracks in the walls throughout the apartment. Closet door will not open. Maintenance man that look at my repair ticket in summer 2019 said he told the office to not rent this apartment but they did anyway. Their solution was to run soaker hose around the building so the foundation does not sink any further.
My lease was up in April 2020, due to the pandemic renewed my lease. This summer, 2020,… the foundation is even worse, cracks are larger, my apartment is a dump!
Recent ownership changes has led to a lot of billing issues. Be prepared to deal with inconveniences.
