I gave this complex a second chance by signing here twice, and that was a mistake. The issues here are not isolated; they’re consistent.
Maintenance is careless, and management will charge you for problems their own team creates.
In July, I submitted a maintenance request for an overflow issue above my bathtub and documented everything through their portal, including photos. When maintenance came, they left visible damage and didn’t clean up properly, leaving a permanent stain on the tub that... was not there before. At move-out, I was charged for that damage. Even with a clear timeline of events and everything reported through their system, management refused to take responsibility and pushed the cost onto me. I no longer have access to the maintenance portal after move-out, but all of this was properly documented and submitted at the time.
That alone should tell you how they handle tenants.
Then in March, our fire alarms were going off nonstop; an actual emergency. We submitted an emergency request and even went to the office in person. It still took over two hours just to get a callback. When we finally heard back, we were asked if the issue could wait until the next day.
Fire alarms going off, and the response is essentially “can it wait?” That’s unacceptable.
This place has a clear pattern: slow response times, poor-quality maintenance work, and no accountability. I overlooked it once and gave them another chance. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else make that same mistake.
Look elsewhere before you sign.
