Not worth what you pay in my opinion. Internet has been out 85% of my stay here and not credited for the times it didn’t work. If you are a remote worker DO NOT move here. Bugs even after pest control comes (spiders, scorpions, pincher bugs, roly polys). You pay for pest control monthly but they only come if you have a pest control issue. Thin walls (I can hear my neighbors while I am in my bathroom). The brivo app works when it wants to. Packages get stolen when the mail carries leave them on... top of the lockers. The gates have been broken off and on and when they are working it doesn’t recognize my car. Communication can be better especially when they need to enter your home. People have kids and people work. One notice was under 24hrs most notices are 24hrs. I’m sure they know days before letting us know. Trash isn’t always picked up. Maintenance is great I would give maintenance 5 stars.

After five months, we had a problem with our downstairs neighbor and requested to move to another apartment. Management relocated us quickly, but they also changed our lease start date.
When we moved out one year after our original move-in date, they charged us an early termination fee based on the new lease date they had created. They also claimed they don't process move-outs on Sundays—even though this is nowhere in the lease—so they charged us for an extra day after we had already vacated the... apartment, plus additional fees, including a $100 cleaning charge that was never mentioned in the contract.
We left the apartment spotless, exactly as we received it. Jonathan and Ángel from the maintenance team confirmed its condition. They are by far the best part of The Darby—professional, efficient, and genuinely kind.
Despite repeatedly disputing the charges through the resident portal and email, management ignored us and threatened to send the account to collections unless we paid the full amount. We were never allowed to pay only the charges that were actually supported by the lease. The two Ashleys were especially unhelpful, constantly passing us back and forth before eventually stopping all communication.
Other reviews are also accurate: the entrance doors are frequently broken or left open, reducing security, and the pool closes at 5:00 p.m. with the office, making it unusable for most residents after work.
It's a real shame that such a beautiful community is being ruined by poor management and disappointing customer service. The property has great potential, but the lack of professionalism and accountability completely overshadows the experience. Read More

The management staff has unfortunately been very unprofessional in my experience. Anytime I’ve submitted or followed up on a work order, I’ve been met with attitude or defensiveness when simply requesting basic communication and updates. Instead of focusing on resolving the issue, responses often shift toward explanations about what staff deals with day-to-day, which feels dismissive and unhelpful as a resident.

For a property that markets itself as “luxury” and comes at a high price point, I... expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service from management.

On a positive note, the maintenance team has always been kind, professional, and helpful, and the community itself is generally well-maintained. Unfortunately, dealing with management over even simple work orders has consistently been frustrating and stressful. Read More

This is hands down the worst apartment complex l've ever dealt with. The build quality is absolutely pathetic--our master bathroom has mold that management refuses to address, the doors don't latch properly, and the windows don't even lock, which is a serious safety hazard. It's like they cut every possible corner when throwing these buildings together.
But the real disaster is the management. Not only are they completely unresponsive, but they also handed our mail key to a random, unrelated... tenant and then had the audacity to refuse to give us our mail! That's not just incompetence--it's negligence.
The so-called "amenities" are a joke. The community grills had been broken for months with no communication or signs indicating they were out of order. It's clear that once they have your money, they couldn't care less about maintaining the property or addressing tenant concerns.

The internet here is SO BAD you can't even use the internet effectively.

Then you have to pay $100 to upgrade your internet plan.

Tons of hidden fees and the management staff is unresponsive and unhelpful.

I REGRET MOVING HERE SO BAD I CAN'T EVEN WORK CAUSE OF THE INTERNET.

On Their website they advertised "no rent until 2025 and win a 2500 gift card, reach out to us for details".

I reached out about 2 weeks ago and they've never gotten back to me.
