Jefferson Review
This review is solely based on my experience at this property, from building 1, the main building.
I have the 1bd/1b model floor plan.
My apt feels spacious with high ceilings and light finishes; grey lower cabinets/white uppers.
This is a fairly new build and still has a clean feel.
The common spaces are awesome! They are kept exceptionally clean considering how much they are used. Beautifully furnished with a swanky design style, this property boast lots of amenities that are open for use... 24 hours a day.
That said, this property location couldn’t be worse. State Highway 114 splits and ends here which means the road in is one way and heavily congested.
There isn’t an overpass to get out of the property.
When you pull out of the property, you are trying to join a jam. I don’t care how much you smile, wave, or gesture to politely join the line—you will need patience. Most of my business is the opposite direction, joining the jam is just the start…now you need to do it twice more to eek your way across lanes and up to the turn around spot.
May the odds ever be in your favor.
This property is sandwiched between a roaring highway and a warehouse loading dock.
Both of which are open for business 24 hours.
Poorly insulated windows do nothing to stave off the constant sound.
During the day it’s not a bother, but as you try to sleep you will need to adjust to the crashing bangs as loads are dropped, the constant back-up beeping of semis, and loading dock workers that shout out directions to drivers.
At midnight.
1,2,3,4,5,6 am.
It doesn’t stop.
Personally, I have an air purifier in each room to help drown out the noise, and ear plugs.
In addition, the Texas Motor Speedway is within spitting distance. Racing has a season, and you will be here for it.
Factory smells. I’m not sure which factory it’s coming from, as there are several, but most days there is a sickening smell in the air. It smells like burning chemicals of some kind…I normally keep my patio door open so that my dog can come/go but on these days I cannot.
Staff, I have enjoyed the leasing staff. They are always kind and helpful.
Personal grievances: Maintenance. Unprofessional, Condescending, Disrespectful, and Incompetent in their maintenance duties.
I don’t call for maintenance anymore, even when I need it.
They alone have soured me on this property and I will not be renewing my lease, nor can I recommend this property.
