Bel Air Oaks

I moved here because it was cheap and I was desperate and the front office was sweet (the old staff) but the amount of money I’ve spent on bug sprays and fixes I've had to do myself has made me realize it would have been better to go elsewhere. The first two weeks I had mold covering a huge section of my laundry room and water damage in the floors. It squished when I was downstairs and they didn’t replace the floor although they did replace the section of wall that had visible mold. They fixed... my downstairs ac but it still sprays black stuff (I don’t question I don’t want to know) and is so loud I’ve basically moved everything to the upstairs bedroom. When I first moved in- my place was infested with oriental cockroaches, red wood ants, spiders, wood roaches, and silverfish. They are TOO STRICT with parking restrictions because they’re so paranoid people will abuse their apartment complex that you are only allowed to have someone visit three times a month. My boyfriend is only allowed three times to register his car a month (which you have to do every single time) so he doesn’t get towed. Then it’s an addition $8 each time. I can’t sleep without checking the bed and spraying all the doors and windows with bug spray. I also can’t sleep because it can’t get under 77 and I have the ac on constantly and it’s not cheap. The rent is so low I knew this wasn’t going to be a five star apartment but they sent an email the day before that water would be turned off for the next day up to two days possibly for maintenance. I work with raw meats overnight for work so sleep during the day. I saw this email at 3am the morning of so I had no chance to get ready and asked them on updates through the day (when I was supposed to be asleep). They told me they’d update me… they never updated me so I went in person. The answer was we still have no idea but go to a gym and use the shower there. The new office staff doesn’t seem to know anything that’s going on because when I signed the lease I was told the parking was three times a week for visitors not a month! I regret this place. I can’t rest ever when I’m here I’d rather be at work. I can’t make this a home. I can’t let my guard down. I have to spray every other day or I’ll get an infestation of something. I am losing my mind. You can feel the changes in your health when you stay here. I don’t care how bad things get it will never be bad enough to have to put yourself through this place. Read More

Cost of water and sewer is too high and unfair Sudenly our water and sewer bill went up and up,and now management office says that if you live in a 3 bedrrom apartment you should pay more even if only 2 adults live in when I have notice that in some 1 bedroom apartment there are several adults and children living, is totally unfair for Us and hope someone fix this crazy billing issues we have been living here fir 4 years and we were hoping to stay mire time but is hard to be paying for property... piping leaks or paying fir someone else water is not fair Read More

Awesome location We have been living here for almost 4 years now we take good care of our apartment,we know we have some problems with noisy and trashy neighbors and water leaks but the maintenance crew has been taking care of all so far we like the location because the school for my kids is close ,and we for sure appreciate all the efforts leasing office crew and maintenance do to keep the complex and good shape we totally understand how hard it is some time,hope we can stay here more time... and we be appreciated for being a good tenant thank you for all you do.
