Cortland Walker Ranch is a Great place to live in with the appropriate amount of amenities available and good/friendly people that are willing to help you out when needed.

Beware of the incompetence from the leasing management. This was one after another bad experience. It could have been solved by simply communicating to your tenants.
I locked this unit down months before, almost 6 months before scheduled to move. Not once did I ever get any communication from the leasing agents. I had to call months after notifying them and sending in the application to confirm a “transfer” document and fee needing to be signed. I was told this was to transfer an active lease… and was charged because it maintained the contract and lease that existed. I specifically asked on the phone and when I came in person to sign that document and pay. I made sure to ask again if that was the only fee I had to worry about as all other deposits and fees were paid on the original lease, the associate walked to some back office to “confirm” and came back agreeing the transfer fee was the only fee. Well that was a lie and I was charged a second pet deposit and my lease was not held it tact. The leasing agents took it upon themselves to extend the lease another 1 year from the original agreement I had to pay to “transfer”
The problems kept escalating. A week before move in date. With no communication from the leasing agents, I decided to call and confirm. When I called I was told any construction would be completed or cleared by fridays move in date. When I arrived Friday morning the leasing agent acted like the date was Saturday not Friday. After explaining the call I made to confirm, she went to the back to see if they could correct this. She did and prorated the day for Friday charging me extra for this mistake.
Minutes after getting the keys I arrived to a unit with the front door taped off, and 6 foot holes around the entrance and back door. Absolutely no way to move in. I called front desk shortly after to find a resolution and never got a call back until the third party customer service line called back and said the front desk associate said to “wait till construction is over to move in”
Construction didn’t wrap up till months later.
I was never provided a mailbox number, details on the continued construction, or even a notice my lease was extended with an upcoming secondary pet fee when I picked up the keys. I never even got working keys for the backyard door. Read More

With everything being so expensive these days, Cortland Walker Ranch is one of the few places that offers affordable living space at a fair price. The amenities are really nice.

You all have been really amazing to me and have been really long nerve and understanding for my moments where I would get mad and upset for the little stuff. This place has been really good to me and I really appreciate Cortland.
