Roaches and bugs infestation every building

all buildings are filled with roaches, ants, rodents like the squirrels that get into your unit. Terrible do not rent here.

Avoid. Much better value elsewhere

Horrible management. Wish I never rented with them. Gate is constantly broken so don’t expect any sense of security here. Requested photos or video or FaceTime of my unit 3 times prior to moving in as I was out of state and still wasnt provided. The only 2 times I needed to use the business center, there were issues (door to enter was broken, no one came to fix after waiting), other time printers didn’t work. Ants swarm the ledge of the pool so if you rest your back against it, you’ll be eaten… up all summer. Move in was a mess, wasn’t provided correct keys, garage opener, still had to have door to garage rekeyed. Gate to dog park is bent up so dogs can use their snout to push open and run out. The list goes on but basically everything I’d like to avoid in a place I live.

We sincerely apologize for your negative experience at Mira Vista at La Cantera. We strive to offer the best services. Our front gate is an access gate solely for our residents and their guests to gain entry with an access remote or by calling the… resident through the call box for entry. Because this is an access gate, it does not act as a security gate, and we cannot guarantee security. However, we remind all residents and guests to be aware of their surroundings. Our access gate is a priority should there be an issue, and is currently properly functioning. Unfortunately, we do not offer virtual tours at the moment and always refer our prospects to our property website to get a better idea of our apartment homes' floorplan, location, and interior. We are glad we could get the business center door and printer back up and running shortly after the issue was observed. Although we cannot control all nature, we do our best to keep unwanted pests away from our common areas by participating in weekly pest control services.
Regarding your move-in process, we are glad we were able to rectify the issue with your keys and garage opener on that same day. Our dog park gates are fully functioning, and we always encourage our residents to ensure they are closing the dog park gate at all times during their arrival and departure from the amenity. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our leasing office at 210-558-0660. We are happy to help in any way that we can.

Unaccommodating. Insects galore.

For us, San Antonio met us with the "go back to wherever you came from" attitude, and the staff treated us with the exact same attitude. You will be overbilled at end of lease with fictitious charges and management will be unwilling to speak to you because you no longer are a resident.
Not a very good place to live

It's the perfect place to live.

The views are amazing, especially on the 3rd floor of building 14.
The pool and BBQ area with volleyball are the perfect places for gatherings.
The qym is great, and you get fire works every week because Six Flags is across the street. You can walk to the Shops At La Cantera in four minutes.
Tennis and basketball courts.
You will love it here. I've had zero maintenance issues and no mail issues.
The Rim is minutes away, too, and that means music at The Rustic is only minutes away.

This is not a pleasant place to stay

Management is rude, and the office staff is deceitful... When I moved out, I cleaned my Apartment to move in standards and they still charged me $600.. I basically payed as if I trashed the place... I advise you to just take what you need w/ you when you move out and leave the trash... They’re going to charge you anyway... I rate them well below a 0... The gate is never fixed causing criminal to break in vehicles all throughout the complex... Spend your hard earn cash somewhere else... These… guys are a total rip off!!!
